Jennifer Grey Nose Job
Jennifer Grey, actress from the movie Dirty Dancing, had a nose job to remove the bump on her nose. In an interview for the UK’s Channel 5 Jennifer admitted that having the rhinoplasty on her nose was the worst mistake she has ever made. She felt that she was no longer recognizable as the girl from Dirty Dancing but instead somebody who looked a bit like her. The career of this 1980’s movie star ground to a complete halt overnight in the early 1990s because suddenly nobody recognized her.
She says, “I went in the operating theatre a celebrity - and come out anonymous. It was like being in a witness protection program or being invisible. I remember going to a restaurant where I had been going for years. I ran into people I knew and would say, ‘Hey.’ Nothing. I’ll always be this once-famous actress nobody recognizes… because of a nose job.”
Reports state that she had not one but two nose jobs in the hopes that a better nose would advance her career. Fortunately for Jennifer Grey, the nose job had its intended effect on her appearance but unfortunately for her the surgery had the opposite effect on her career.
